Free web site creation (and hosting) is a useful tool for those who don't have a
site already, and you can link to your current site if you do. The Society also
provides seminars, print and audio member briefings and numerous tips and tools
for using the Internet to succeed in commercial real estate.

- www.nareit.com - This online community is a comprehensive resource for the REIT
and publicly-traded real estate industry. The My NAREIT page lets you customize
for future visits, e.g., by choosing which stocks run in the ticker, or removing
items to reduce clutter. There is a wealth of data including publications, meeting
and conference info, tax code affecting REITs, research and statistics. While some
is available only to fee-paying members, there is much that is free.

- www.iciworld.net - Here you can search through an extensive database of properties,
buyers and sellers of investment properties. Stay focused -- it's easy to get lost
in the numerous resources and links in this site. Click on Search Haves and Wants at
the top of the page, then choose from the links in the left column. Better still,
just below the list of countries near the top of the Home page, click on Subscribe to
receive Haves and Wants by Email; select from dozens of email lists depending on
property type or location and have new property listings sent to you automatically.
Well worth the potential eyestrain.
Sublease.com
- www.sublease.com - This site focuses exclusively on the subleasing of commercial
real estate space. Search by zip code and receive data for that code and surrounding
ones as well. Tenants can list property for $45/month; brokers list for $25/listing/mo.
Large metro areas only, but growing.
Offices2Share.com
- www.offices2share.com - provides a "match making" listing service for those with
short-term (maximum 3.5 year lease term) office space to rent and those who wish to
rent ready-to-move-into offices with short-term/ flexible leases. Start at FAQ to see
if this site is right for you or use the free search. You can list one property for
$99/listing/mo, or list for free w/multiple listings (w/ a fee for completed deal based
on Office2Share referral).
