your real estate resource directory
General Resources
Google - www.google.com - Google is a search engine and it's outstanding. How is it different: 1) It's simple. So simple in fact that there's nothing on the page but their logo and a box to enter your search terms. It's not all lathered up with banner ads and running monkeys; 2) It's fast. 3) We have no idea why, but it seems to find results that others don't. We use it before we try the others, and we usually have good luck.

We've put their search bar here if you would like to try it:

Google!

PikeNet - www.pikenet.com - PikeNet is one of the first web sites devoted strictly to commercial / investment real estate and it has become even better over time. The content is excellent and Peter Pike's newsletter, available at the site or via e-mail, is always interesting and informative.

Mail2Web - www.mail2web.com - Retrieve your email (POP or IMAP) from anywhere and any computer using this quick, free, and (most importantly) secure service. Simply enter your email address and password – it's that easy! It even works with AOL or your Yahoo mail account (Sorry, Hotmail is not available).

HighBeam eLibrary - www.elibrary.com - The HighBeam eLibrary is a research site. Ask a question and launch a search through what they say is more than 150 newspapers, hundreds of magazines, as well as numerous maps, photographs and major works of literature and art. You can have 7 days' free access, after which there is a monthly or annual subscription fee.

Adobe® Acrobat® Reader - www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep2.html - Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software that lets you view and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files. A PDF makes it possible for you to view and print a document exactly as the author designed it; you do not need to have the same software that was used to create the document. A vast number of documents on the Internet, such as product brochures, user's guides, tax forms, etc., can be downloaded as PDF files. The reader is free and is absolutely essential to have on your system; if you want to create your own PDF files, then you need to purchase the complete Acrobat product.
